It's not as bad as I thought it would be, but I do have a few things that I am just *tickled* that they're available. I don't know if I could do this without them!
Coffee. Hot, cold, who cares? Yay caffeine! And speaking of caffeine:
Inside that cup is 3/4 Diet Dr. Pepper and 1/4 regular Dr. Pepper. It makes a darn good approximation of Dr. Pepper 10. Yum. Of course, I usually prefer Chick-fil-a. I tried McDonald's last night and....yuck. Much better service at Chick-fil-a!
Can I just say how the heck did I not like audiobooks before? I mean, really. I've already finished two, and I'm on my third. Free driving entertainment, people {courtesy of the library}. Also, did you know that Cracker Barrel loans out audiobooks and games? I'm going to stop into one on the way home and see what that's all about?
Annnd, now is where I thank high heaven for my GPS.
Even though I kind of felt like this last night, the GPS was right all along.
What's tickling your fancy these days?
P.S. Don't forget that I have a giveaway running right now, and no one has entered yet! Your chances of winning are very good!
Now I'm really curious as to where you are ;) The only thing that comes to mind is potentially visiting Luna? But I'm not even quite sure where she is these days :P
ReplyDeleteAs for the audiobooks from Cracker Barrel, my family lived on those for car trips when I was a wee one! :D My brothers and I would each "rent" ones we were interested in and listen to them on our Walkmen while the parents listened to their own out loud in the car. :P It was a great way to keep the peace!
And the best thing about them is that you can return them to ANY Cracker Barrel in the US! They'll even give you a map of the different locations! :) It's a sweet deal :D As long as you have the money to put down for the refundable deposit ;)
*Hugs*
A road trip sounds so fun right now! I love audio books for long car rides - and you gotta have caffeine :)
ReplyDeleteCoffee, books and GPS (or Mary as we call the little female automated voice that comes from my Husbands Phone. Phone:"You will want to be in the right lane" Me: "Thank You Mary".
ReplyDeleteThe sign at the end is priceless & getting shared right now :)
I love roadtrips! I bet it's somehow freeing to go it solo. Have a blast! (And amen for your fav things!!)
