The Tianjin Eye

One of the things my city is "famous" for in China is its Eye. Just like the London Eye, it moves fairly slowly and gives you a bird's eye view of the city. Unlike London, the smog is sometimes so bad that going on the Eye would be rather pointless.

A cool thing about THIS Eye, though, is that it is built ON a bridge, and is supposedly the only ferris wheel to be built on a bridge. I haven't been able to verify that, but its a fun claim-to-fame!

The other day a few friends of mine popped in from Beijing, and after a fun lunch at our favorite Hot Pot restaurant, we decided to head over. The sky was cloudy but the view was pretty clear. Enjoy beautiful Tianjin!
