Sloops! (Day 13)

You saw all of my sailing pictures right? If not, go here, and here. These boats are called Sunfish and they are the first boats that our campers learn to sail.

These are the next step:

The ones with the white sails are called sloops because they have one mast and two sails. The campers learn to sail them in teams consisting of three roles: crew, skipper, and captain. Each position is a different rating and they come to camp to learn a new one each year.

One day I'll know how to sail all of them. I'm adding learning to sail to my bucket list.
