I took this picture at the marina where my organization keeps what we effectionately call "the big boats." These campers get to sail to a nearby island, spend a few days there, and then sail back. How freakin' awesome is that?!
Remember when I told you about sloops a few days ago? The campers who come to earn their levels on them get to take this trip. Its helpful because they learn how sailing to a destination {(rather than on a course)} really works, and they get to do something that only the very oldest, most skilled group gets to do.
Sometimes getting older has his perks.
