About summer

I'm sure you've noticed I've been gone more than I was last summer while I was at camp. Last summer was new, exciting, full of promise. This summer was all of those things, but in a different way.

For a variety of reasons I've been absent. Some of them are related to my upcoming move to China. Some are personal. Some aren't, but are things I'm not comfortable sharing on the interwebs and broadcasting {you understand, I'm sure}.

But, know that I've felt *really* out-of-sorts lately. I haven't felt confident, capable, like I could do anything. I felt like I could do nothing. That all of my decisions, thoughts, ideas, were wrong. How to share in this space when you're having those feelings? It's hard enough putting yourself out here when you're not even sure if anyone is listening anymore, let alone when you *know* that everything you say is wrong.

And so. That's where I am. I'm working on being excited about things again. On feeling like I don't care what others think of me, my thoughts, my ideas, my hobbies, my life. On knowing that despite my mistakes {of which, I know I make many} I am a capable person who can and does make a difference. Of reminding myself that I *am* worth something. On not feeling attacke.

Bare {bear?} with me. I'm working on it. On finding beauty in every day things. In documenting the little things. In finding great books, and recipes, and updating you on my {upcoming} travels and challenges.

Until I get back into the swing of things, thank you for hanging in here with me. It means a lot.

  1. Summer season is one of the exciting part of the year. We can do a lot of fun activities during this season because of the good weather. All we have to do is find those destinations with good offer that you can really enjoy.

  2. you are a good human.
and its okay to go away for a while.
and its okay to come back when you are ready.

i am so excited to follow your journey in china!
