In celebration of all of you, I thought I'd tell you 10 quirky things about myself {and come back on Wednesday for the promised giveaway! Squee!}.
1. I'm kind of a wanderer. I've lived in 3 states, had many {MANY} jobs, and really love the variety of experiences I've had.
2. I enjoy traveling alone. It's scary at times, but seriously empowering.

3. I'll do most anything on a dare {like jump into freezing water in the middle of February}.
4. My second toe is longer than my big toe. There is actually a name for this: Morton's toe.
5. I read Hebrew fluently {if there are vowels}. I don't know what it *means* but I can phonetically tell you what it sounds like.
6. I add to my Bucket List almost every time I cross something off.
7. I'm addicted to books. No, really. I have about 25 I have bought but not yet read.
8. I recently graduated with my Master's degree from Texas A&M University. I wrote my thesis on recreational sex.
9. I have very strong opinions. I don't *usually* go into those here, but in real-life? I have a hard time keeping my mouth shut.
10. Favorite holidays: Christmas, Chanukah {both because of the lights} Sukkot {because of the harvest}, Passover {the food}. Yes, it's a contradiction of sorts.
Whew! That was fun! So....tell me about you! Leave one interesting fact in the comments!
Also, don't forget to drop by on Wednesday to enter the giveaway!
Very cool I'm a new reader & glad to learn a few things about you.

Great list! I am a new reader as well. I just wrote a bunch of random things on my blog tonight but humm....off the top of my head - I went to the Junior Olympic Trials in Syncronized Swimming.
ReplyDeleteIs it crazy that my first observation about your toes was how good your pedicure looks? ;)
ReplyDeleteRandom thing about me - I have a great-aunt who was a nun & a die-hard Green Bay Packers fan and would pray 5 Rosaries before each game (she passed away several years ago).
I love this list! How cool that you can read Hebrew! :)
ReplyDeleteAlso - I would love to sit down over a cup of coffee with you and discuss some of these strong opinions! ;) That would be fun!
I took a semester of Hebrew in college, and i'm so sad that I've forgotten EVERYTHING! I would love to really learn it- or any other language- one day! I'm the same way with books. I love to read, but I love to collect new ones even more! I guess all you really need to know about me is that I LOVE to travel and I really love good food :)
ReplyDeleteHope your having a great week!
