DIY: Christmas Presents Ornament

So, a bit of a change in plan. I told all of you that I was posting about an ornament similar to this one, but I couldn't get my camera to cooperate. ::sigh:: Hopefully I'll get everything running soon and I'll have the stars ornament up by Tuesday or Wednesday.

Today, then, I'm sharing an ornament that I got inspiration for by simply walking around Hobby Lobby. That happens to me ALOT, actually. It's definitely more hot-glue intensive than the Snowman Ornament, but not so messy {no fake snow involved}!

Supplies:
1 package of "presents" from the craft store
Hot glue gun + sticks
Ribbon {any kind; mine is sparkly!}
Popsicle stick or pen to touch recently glued ribbon with

Directions:
You're basically making a stack of presents, so I arranged my base {3 presents x 3 presents} and then glued it together.

Glue the ribbon onto that first layer like so.

Now, stack your presents on top of the ribbon and first layer gluing as you go.

When you think you're done, tie a bow in the top of your ribbon and hold up your ornament. If it's level and hangs correctly, you're done! If not, add presents to adjust.

Aaand, viola! One easy peasy present ornament! How cute do you think this will look on my tree? Or yours? {wink!}

P.S. LAST chance to enter to win my giveaway featuring Polka Dot Cardz! I will be choosing a winner tonight!
