A Camp Director's Desk

There has been kind of a trend of studio tours floating around blogworld lately. Well, I don't have a studio. I have a bay, a galley, craft rooms, a sail house, a pool, and a gaga pit. But, most of my "serious work?" Well, it happens on my desk.

1. Cards for writing notes to my staff, and for sending mail. {P.S. If you want mail, get in contact and we'll get set up!}

2. My name tag and whistle. That thing comes in handy with 120 campers around!

3. Burt's Bees aftersun lotion. That stuff? Awesome. A miracle.

4. My conglomeration of pens and flowers.

5. A phone that got lost.

6. Folders that I organize each week for my unit leaders. Inside you can find a manual, a roster, a list of things to bring, medication charts, and kaper lists.

7. Sunnies! Definitely need those.

And the other side:

1. My Mac. Love this thing.

2. Contacts box. If you've ever worked for me, or come in contact with me at my camp, your contact information is in here.

3. Two coffee cups. I drink a LOT of coffee. A LOT.

4. Three phone and a radio. My personal cell {which, believe it or not, I have to keep on me at all times}, the Nextel issued to me by my organization, the camp cordless phone, and the walkie talkie that lets me talk to our people on the water {and theoretically, the Coast Guard}.

5. Diet Dr. Pepper. A given.

What does your workspace look like?

  2. I believe I spy some decorations reportedly stolen from MD Anderson hospital. And where is the camp director keychain/nurse keychain?
