In no particular order, this is what has to get accomplished in 2 months:
- Get ready for camp (I am a summer camp director for a major non-profit)
- Thesis (20 in-depth interviews, and 3 articles written to defend)
- Moving out of my apartment
- Applying for programs/jobs (so far, 2, but more will pop up)
- Writing/finishing 5 articles for submission before I leave school
- Saving for my own personal Saved Quarter Challenge (which means filling my time with odd jobs and selling things).
So, if you're looking for me, you'll probably find me at my favorite coffee shop typing my little fingers off. Hopefully I'll pop up for air every once in awhile!
Good luck with all the wrapping up of school activities! Your blog was linked at Unintended Housewife, so I just thought I'd pop over and say hi. Also, though, I noticed that you are reading 'Cutting for Stone' and seriously, it's the best book I've ever read. I finished it a couple of months ago. Granted, I am a medical student, so I got a cheap thrill from the use of medical jargon ("Whoa, I KNOW that word!), but overall, I love Verghese's writing. I hope you enjoy it! (And if you don't, ignore this comment, because medical students are crazy and enjoy weird things. :D)
