Adventures in Flip Flops is a lifestyle blog featuring book reviews, recipes, and my attempt to cross things off my bucket list. More importantly, it is a way for me to keep in contact with my friends, family, and online community while I explore the world.
I currently live in China and work for an English language after school program. I love that I have the opportunity to combine my personal goals {live abroad, see the world, learn to speak a new language} and professional ones {work with youth in a non-school setting, learn about international youth issues}.
Some days are harder than others {like when I get laughed at for trying to buy apples, and when I can't find any coffee}, but I wouldn't trade it. It's a fantastic experience, and a freeing one.
